Emotional Support for Families Navigating a Prenatal Diagnosis
Receiving a prenatal diagnosis often brings a mix of emotions—fear, grief, confusion and uncertainty. Our trained staff and caring mentors provide one-on-one emotional support as families process their experience. We provide a compassionate listening ear, connect families with local resources and offer consistent follow-ups to ensure ongoing support.
Education & Medical Navigation Resources
Understanding a diagnosis and navigating appointments can be overwhelming. Families meet with a Registered Nurse who helps them know how to ask the right questions and advocate confidently for themselves. We provide diagnosis-specific handouts, self-advocacy tools and personalized guidance to help parents feel informed rather than intimidated by the process.
Bonding Ultrasounds
Beyond medical information, families often need space to bond with their baby. We are able to perform bonding ultrasounds to provide reassurance and connection in a stress-free environment.
Peer Mentorship & Care Packages
We partner with Praying Through Ministries to offer the following:
- Connection with a peer mentor who has walked through a prenatal diagnosis themselves
- Personalized care packages
This ensures ongoing support and allows families to gather comfort items during this unique season.
